What’s the best way to start a new business partner? If you really want to be successful, starting off your new business partner is absolutely critical.

 

You have to manage their expectations, and you shouldn’t assume anything.

 

 

You want to find out what their expectations are and what it is they’re looking for, what they want. It’s like a relationship.

 

If you don’t find out what their expectations are and what they want, you’re really in for a lot of stumbling blocks.

 

Expectations. Do they expect to make a certain amount of money per month? I wouldn’t assume that they want to be on stage, that they want to be a leader in the company, that they want to build a large team.

 

They may just want to use the product. If they’re not really fired up, get them to the company events that may fire them up. If they are already fired up and are ready to go, help them get started, help them with the presentations.

 

Remember, you also have to prepare them for the landmines. Family and friends may not want to join. There’s this stigma of network marketing. Ask them, “Are you easily influenced by others?” Remind them that other people may be very negative about network marketing.

 

It’s important for them not to be influenced by other people. In summary, best way to start a new business partner, manage their expectations and find out what they want.
