Hello everybody Dr. Steve here, my topic today is “What to Say to Somebody Who Didn’t Watch the Presentation”.
You know what, as good as you think you are in getting to somebody in advance to watch the presentation, a lot of them don’t, then they have lots of excuses.
What you want to do is always maintain posture, and what you don’t wanna do is number one, explain the presentation yourself or number two, guilt them. In other words,
“Yeah, but you said you’re gonna watch it” Obviously, that doesn’t sound very good. What I would suggest is, is to say to them “Listen, I’m quite busy, no problem that you didn’t watch it but I do have quite a few people that I have to get back to that did watch the presentation, I’ll get back to you in a few weeks.”
And you know what they may come back and say to you, “Alright alright I’ll watch it”. If not, get back to them.
