You know what that is? It’s to think long term. You can’t think in the short-term, and you can’t have a certain type of attitude.
I see this when I ask people about starting a business. They’ll say, “Can I get my money back?” “I guess I’ll try it,” or other types of attitudes.
I don’t think you really want partners like that. You want people who think long term, who are gonna plan things out. Remember, it’s also important to get the spouse or the significant other on board.
There’s gonna be obstacles along the way, for sure, and you need to tell people about them. Again, think long term.
