What do you say when somebody says no to your business or your product?
Well, first what I’d like you to remember is that to be successful, you’re going to get, you need to get a lot of nos.
It’s important to respond in a very professional manner. First I’d like to tell you what not to do.
Number one, don’t try to convince them to join, to buy from you. Don’t say, “What are you not interested in making money or losing weight?” Number two, don’t get mad at them. Don’t threaten to unfriend them. Don’t call them names.
Yes, some people actually do this. Instead, work on trying to get some business anyway. Say, actually what I learned the best thing to say here is, “Just curious. Do you know anyone who’d like to make some extra money if I actually showed them step by step how to do it?”
You know what? Sometimes, they’ll respond to this question and bring you back to them that they then may be more curious as to what you have to offer. Or, what you might get is some referrals out of it. They may say, “Yeah, I know Johnny Smith, or Jenny Jones.”
