Hello everybody, Dr. Steve here, my topic today is “The Direct Approach.”
There are three approaches to approaching prospects, the direct, the indirect, and the super indirect.
The direct approach is the approach that I don’t use that much but most people do, what they’ll say is “Hey John, I’ve got to tell you I just started this new business it’s gonna make us both rich.”
So I don’t really like that approach, I don’t love it. What I’ll use the direct approach for is if somebody says “gosh I don’t know how I gonna pay for Johnny’s college education.”
What I’ll say is “when you said you couldn’t afford to pay for Johnny’s education, were you serious or were you just kidding around?”
And if they say they were serious, what I’ll say is “You know what, I may have a solution to your problem.”
