Let me tell you, this is a great place to prospect when you’re out at a restaurant.
If they’re giving you great service, make sure you let them know, and have this conversation before you fill out the tip.
Say, “Hey,” and look around from side to side. “You know, you gave me great service today. Thank you so much.
I’ve got to go to a meeting now, but I wanted to let you know that we’re always looking for sharp individuals.
Are you open to a side project if it didn’t interfere with what you’re currently doing as a waiter? Just curious.”
If they say “Yes,” say, “Great! You know, you’re working. I don’t want to get you into any trouble, but let me grab your contact information. I’ll follow up with you later.”
