Why is personal development so important? Let me ask you a couple other questions. What’s holding you back from being successful?
Is it bad thinking, bad associations, and how do you improve? Are you willing to invest in you?
Well, let me talk a little about personal development. Jim Rohn said, “Self investment is the key to your future.” How much is your budget for personal development? “
Remember, formal education will make you a living, but self education will make you a fortunate,” another great saying by Jim Rohn. Did you know that many people invest in a formal education but they won’t invest anything in self-education?
What I would recommend for you is to put together a budget for education outside of what your company provides, and that would include books, audios, seminars and coaching.
Did you know that Eric and Marina Worre, they actually, get this, they spend 100,000 dollars a year on personal development. You know what my opinion is?
If you’re just getting started I would set together a budget for about 500 dollars a year for personal development.
In summary, what I would say is there’s nothing more important in network marketing than investing in you, than developing yourself, because if you don’t develop yourself and move forward, you actually move backwards.
