I gotta tell you, it’s really an important subject because a good testimonial can draw people to you and your business.
I heard a good topic on this yesterday at my networking group meeting and I thought I’d bring out some good points.
First, offer to write it for them and offer to submit it back to them for their approval. It’s much quicker, faster, and much easier for the people.
Then, it’s important to interview the person and take note of several different things. Number one, what is the problem they’re facing?
Number two, what effect does the problem have on them? Number three, what are their feelings about the problem? Were they overwhelmed?
This should all be done in one paragraph and in only about three to six sentences.
