Who Should You Approach About Your Newest Business?

Who should you approach about your newest business?

You know what? Traditionally, you’re told everyone, but you know what, probably not best to tell everybody about this. I think the main thing is that you want to approach people who are very positive…

What I’d like to hone in on today are family and friends. What do you about family and friends? What I would say is that you should tell them but really not with lots of excitement or lots of information.

What do I mean by that? I think the best way to do that is to fish, and what I would say to do is ask them how they’re doing.

When they ask you how you’re doing, let them know that you’re working on a side project and then change the subject. Ask them about their kids or about how something else is going.

If they don’t ask you about it, I would leave it at that. If they do ask you about it, give them a little information but not too much information.

A great book on this subject about referrals is actually a book by Bob Burg. It’s called “Endless Referrals.” I read it, and it’s a great way of getting referrals from people and starting out your new business.

I hope you got value from this today. It was a short video, and if you did and you’d like to learn more about my system, please check out my website, and that’s drstevesaboleads.com
