Hello everybody, Dr. Steve here, my topic today is “A Great Tip For Cold Market Recruiting.”
This is a great tip that I learned from Todd Falcone and the key here is to become less formal.
Two keys to this process here. Number one, assume the person that’s answering the phone is the person male or female you wanna speak to.
And number two, you wanna be less formal, use their first name. So, example Cindy Smith, would you say “Hi, Cindy Smith this is Steve Sabo calling.”
No, I think that’s a little too formal. A better way would say “Hey Cindy! Steve Sabo here, hows it going?” And again that’s assuming a female answers the phone.
So in summary, the two tips: assume the person answering the phone is the person you wanna speak to and number two, become less formal.
