My topic today is the two keys to prospecting. So there are two keys to prospecting the way I see it, just saw a video from my friend Liz explaining these two keys.
First, you want to ask them if they’re open, not interested. What do I mean by that?
“Hey Liz, are you open to taking a look at a side business I’m doing if it didn’t interfere with what you’re currently doing?” Notice I said open, not interested.
The second key to prospecting is give them an out. So after you ask them that question what you want to say is, “And listen, if this is something that doesn’t interest you, not a problem, I’m perfectly fine with that.” Puts less pressure on them.
